Structured Elegance

It has been a while since I last posted, I shall not deny that. I have been swamped with academics lately and I couldn't wait to get back to curating posts for, you, all my dear patient readers.

What I set to bring forth today is something novel. If I asked you what a modern, working women, would look for in today's day and age in her wardrobe, I'm sure you would say something along the lines of elegance, agility and the perfect blend of chic and comfort. Luckily, I happened to find all those in this one outfit by Arcoiris

I have repeatedly acknowledged the love I have for structured and well put-together clothing. So naturally, while browsing through the website of Arcoiris, I just couldn't resist this skort dress. The literal definition of Arcoiris, meaning 'rainbow' in Spanish, pretty much intrigued me in knowing more about the brand. The beautiful philosophy behind Arcoiris is to empower oneself to express their identity, which is exactly what I seek to bring out through this post.

The white skort dress is completely body-con that greatly enhances your curves and indeed is quite flattering in all its entirety. I decided on styling the dress along with a choker, barring any heavy accessories so as to give an effortless feel to the whole look. What I sought to create was an imprint of the new-age women with a contemporary elegance. All in all, you can sport the skort dress either at work or at a brunch, and I'm sure eyeballs will linger!

Let me know your thoughts behind the look in the comments below. (Always great to hear you out.)

Until next time!

Street Style Staple

When it comes to street styling, I don't think there is any other style that merely started off as a trend and transformed into a staple. This is one of the reasons I tend to pick a street styled outfit more often; for the simplicity and effortless styling that comes with it.

With e-commerce taking quite a boom, many startups are overlooked for being similar and not offering any novelty. This post centered on being a tad bit varied than the regular, I set to share my experience about Kraftly and what makes it different than the rest. An e-commerce platform, Kraftly is one of the rare portals which acts as a boost to small entrepreneurs and hobby sellers by providing a selling platform. Alternatively, you can also buy from Kraftly from their collection ranging from apparels, fashion accessories, footwear and home decor - to name a few categories. Have a look at their website 'here'

Being the first one to fall for street styling, I created a collection of the same from their collection on their mobile application. I was quite amazed to discover that the fashion collection is quite diverse and kept up to the current trends. From denim clothing, casual t-shirts and totes, I quite enjoyed curating my own street style collection. Another feature of the Kraftly application is its unique method of selling on Instagram. The application assists you in creating a shop within 30 minutes, with minimum requirement and upload product details (product pictures of which you can directly import from Instagram). Kraftly personally ensures all the product shipping and your payments, making it convenient for first-time sellers.

Apart from Instagram, the application has a strong presence on other social media platforms as well. Since street styling appeals the most to my taste of styling, I created a collection of the same on Kraftly. You can check out my street style collection 'here' if you would like to.

Hope you enjoyed reading.

Leather Weather f.t. SBL

The versatile staple loved by all is undoubtedly a leather jacket.  Monsoon's aren't my favorite part of the year, but when they come with quirks of chic styling, I seem to like them just a tad bit more.

Now, I know quite a lot of you could agree when I say the leather weather is approaching and Stalk Buy Love literally has me covered. It's one of those brands that have made an impact on the e-commerce platform in delivering the most trendiest styles. The fact that it stands apart is that each style is handpicked by their curators, giving unprecedented access of the newest fashion.

I picked out this biker leather jacket and these zipper jeans from Stalk Buy Love. And trust me when I say this, it took me quite a while to stalk because every piece was amazing in its own way. The jacket and jeans fit like a dream and were pretty effortless to style. When it's monsoons, leather whole shoes just cant seem to stray afar. I decided on pairing my biker jacket and zipper jeans with leather shoes simply because they bring out the spirit of the season. Completed the look with a choker and silver sunglasses, and I was good to go. You can check out the trendy collection of Stalk Buy Love 'here'.

What's your idea of a monsoon look? Let me know in the comments below.

Until next time, all you lovely readers!

Boho Chic

With summer nearing it's end and the conundrum of crazy weather beginning, I reckon we still have a few muggy weeks of late summer ahead of us. This undoubtedly calls for outfits that are a roundup of summer fashion implicating a more easy-going relaxed look.

Much like me, if you have an undying love for summer clothing, All About You from Deepika Padukone can pretty much turn out to be your kindred match. Curated by Deepika Padukone herself, the brand encompasses femininity through its silhouettes, and does so, phenomenally. I picked out this tassel vest that synchronized perfectly with these sequined shorts. The white top broke the monotone and when paired with the vest, brought together a very bohemian vibe. You can check out the amazing collection from All About You 'here'.

The best way to amp up any outfit is through the bags you choose to wear with them. As for me, bags have always been an alluring accessory and I cannot resist a good bag when I see one. This bag from Zhero Denim was the perfect mixture of chic and edgy as it comprised of leather and denim, making it one of the many unique bags that I've come across. Another quality that stood out was how sturdy the bag was, making it the perfect match for this look. Check out their bags 'here'.

I paired the overall look with these Rivir Shoes. The silver slip on's are as comfortable as they look. It fell in place and aided the chic factor, seamlessly. The whole look was created in mind by bringing out a bohemian look(with a chic touch) and one that serves as a fashion fix for the last days of summer while they're here.

Let me know whats your idea of a bohemian look, in the comments below.

Until next time, lovelies!

Blocked Layering

'Fashion is art and you are the canvas.' Such a powerful saying. Fashion truly is a platform, seamlessly fusing into a template you wish to create. Experimenting, therefore, is a by-product and if anything, this post is all about fusion.

Colour blocking has been the 'it' trend for quite a while now. What I have incorporated as a different element in the look is light summer layering along with colour blocking. I picked out this blue sleeveless top and plaid shirt coat from Clovia. I would have easily spent close to an hour zeroing in the looks, simply because there was so much I loved.

My previous post on Clovia was more about casual summer dressing. This time around, I decided on creating a more well-defined, sharp look. Blue is my weakness when it comes to clothes and I couldn't wait to style the top. Whats striking about the top is the zipper details, giving it a slight edge. I decided on colour blocking it with a oxblood pencil skirt and layered it with the plaid coat; and it might be one of the most comfortable items I have ever donned. It's an ideal wear for those days when you need a day-to-night look. Killer heels were an absolute must to sum up the look.

Let me know how you style a day-to-night look, in the comments below.

I shall soon see you with a new look.

Until next time, lovely readers!

Revisiting the 70's

I have always adored the vibe that comes with summer. What's even more fun about summer styling is the retro appeal that you can infuse into any outfit, bringing together a chilled-out 70's vibe.

This eye-catching flare/bell sleeve top from Clovia pretty much has retro written all over it. For those of you being introduced to the brand for the first time, Clovia is an online portal dealing, majorly, in lingerie that aims at redefining the purpose of intimate wear while they are at it. Log onto their website and you'll find beautifully designed lingerie for every category and every occasion.

Bell sleeves are quintessentially a fashion piece of the 70's era and there has been a huge comeback lately. I'v always loved georgette for some reason and while browsing through Clovia's website, I absolutely doted the flare of the sleeves and the tiny polka dots that encrusted the entire top. While you cannot tell, I'm wearing a racer back from Clovia's collection of sport lingerie. The accurate fit and vibrant colours are truly what make Clovia stand out. Because I set out to create the retro vibe, I paired the top with white shorts and round sunglasses.

I love to hear what you have to say, so let me know what's your retro style, in the comments below.

Until next time!

Bollywood Dreams

There have been countless encounters when I'm watching a movie and tend to fall for it all; the outfits, the glamour quotient or simply; how put together the stars look. I was always of the opinion that the array of apparels used in any movie are pretty much a distant clothing item, not very practical to be seen hanging in my closet.

However, BollyWoo seemed to instantaneously scram off those doubts of mine. It is a brand dealing in copyrighted movie clothing that makes you 'Feel like a Star'. I decided on going with this exquisite Plumb Jumpsuit from the movie Dil Dhadkne Do that was embodied by Priyanka Chopra, simply because I couldn't get enough of that movie.

I have written an exclusive article for BollyWoo in which I talk all about my experience with the amazing brand and a tad bit about my love for Bollywood. You can read about my experience 'here'.

Let me know how you liked the Bollywood look in the comments below.

I will soon see you with another post.

Until next time, lovelies!
