The Wilderness Within

Often in times of chaos and humdrum, we drift apart from the very essence of originality. Imitating in order to fit in is a conventional but flawed phenomenon. As for me, originality transcends to fashion too, just like it does in a million other things. Wearing a piece that defines you is one which you are most comfortable in.

Denim is one such trend has stood the test of time and is still going strong; making it absolutely ageless and versatile in its own existence. And that exactly is the ideology behind 'The Bleu Label'. In a way, wilderness means the raw essence that defines you. So when I say embracing the wilderness within, I mean feeling liberated to don the clothes that best outline your form. And this denim jacket brings about just that vibe!

The Aztec Denim Jacket contains a fusion of new age design with the distressed patches and an underlying sense of a vintage element with its aztec prints. I took quite an instantaneous liking for the jacket for its right fit and the unique back prints, of course. Pairing it with denim shorts and a heart cross-body bag gave the chic look an edge of street-style. Wear the jacket with a crop top or a strappy dress and it will turn heads.

Boho Chic

With summer nearing it's end and the conundrum of crazy weather beginning, I reckon we still have a few muggy weeks of late summer ahead of us. This undoubtedly calls for outfits that are a roundup of summer fashion implicating a more easy-going relaxed look.

Much like me, if you have an undying love for summer clothing, All About You from Deepika Padukone can pretty much turn out to be your kindred match. Curated by Deepika Padukone herself, the brand encompasses femininity through its silhouettes, and does so, phenomenally. I picked out this tassel vest that synchronized perfectly with these sequined shorts. The white top broke the monotone and when paired with the vest, brought together a very bohemian vibe. You can check out the amazing collection from All About You 'here'.

The best way to amp up any outfit is through the bags you choose to wear with them. As for me, bags have always been an alluring accessory and I cannot resist a good bag when I see one. This bag from Zhero Denim was the perfect mixture of chic and edgy as it comprised of leather and denim, making it one of the many unique bags that I've come across. Another quality that stood out was how sturdy the bag was, making it the perfect match for this look. Check out their bags 'here'.

I paired the overall look with these Rivir Shoes. The silver slip on's are as comfortable as they look. It fell in place and aided the chic factor, seamlessly. The whole look was created in mind by bringing out a bohemian look(with a chic touch) and one that serves as a fashion fix for the last days of summer while they're here.

Let me know whats your idea of a bohemian look, in the comments below.

Blocked Layering

'Fashion is art and you are the canvas.' Such a powerful saying. Fashion truly is a platform, seamlessly fusing into a template you wish to create. Experimenting, therefore, is a by-product and if anything, this post is all about fusion.

Colour blocking has been the 'it' trend for quite a while now. What I have incorporated as a different element in the look is light summer layering along with colour blocking. I picked out this blue sleeveless top and plaid shirt coat from Clovia. I would have easily spent close to an hour zeroing in the looks, simply because there was so much I loved.

My previous post on Clovia was more about casual summer dressing. This time around, I decided on creating a more well-defined, sharp look. Blue is my weakness when it comes to clothes and I couldn't wait to style the top. Whats striking about the top is the zipper details, giving it a slight edge. I decided on colour blocking it with a oxblood pencil skirt and layered it with the plaid coat; and it might be one of the most comfortable items I have ever donned. It's an ideal wear for those days when you need a day-to-night look. Killer heels were an absolute must to sum up the look.

Let me know how you style a day-to-night look, in the comments below.

I shall soon see you with a new look.

Until next time, lovely readers!
