Girl Boss

There's just something with blues and my closet; maybe its their bold versatility that always seems to draw me towards them no matter what the occasion. My obsession with jumpsuits goes a long way back. I have always been more of a pant girl and jumpsuits have been my constant companions in times where I just couldn't find the rightly coordinated pieces for my outfits.

And this post is mainly about that. I came across 'Oranje Clothing' and while rummaging through their website, instantaneously fell in love with this royal blue jumpsuit. For those of you new to Oranje, its ideology is not concentric to merely providing chic garments, but evoking an alteration in dressing by provoking a change in the mindset of women at the same time. Honestly there were quite a few pieces that caught my heart because they were all very innovative and smart in their making.

Eventually, however, I gave into this blue jumpsuit. I created a sharp look with the jumpsuit, mirroring the modern women of the current times. It gets somewhat taxing to get work and social life at an equilibrium, and even more baffling with deciding which attire to wear that can act as near substitutes for both. The blue jumpsuit literally fits right in, Not only is it sharp, the cold shoulder and slits make it so much more chic. I finished the look by adding a black choker and handbag.

Ethnic Route

I have absolutely been loving the new transformation in the season. As for me, the onset of summer just seems to bring in a new air of positivism with it and for good reason. Summer garments hold a great deal of innovative possibilities that can act as extension of comfort while they're at it. Nothing's better than opting for an ensemble that brings in a congenial element that has a comfortable outward appearance.

Which brings me to today's post! I'm sure you have already been introduced to Sissies Attire in my previous post. Since I couldn't get enough of their garments, I'm back with a second, more casual and everyday look that was effortless in its styling.

Summer is difficult to picture without slits and bright colors. However, this blue maxi fit's right in. It might be the first time that I'm sporting a ethnic, more Indian outfit on the blog but its always good idea to push your boundaries now and then. I decided to style the piece with my blue denims as it gives a modern touch to the whole look and aids in highlighting the slit. As for the accessories, I put together a blue stoned cuff to give a slight lift to the ensemble.

Let me know any more of the outfit experiments that you would like me to do, in the comments below.

Until next time!

Of Radiance and Contrast

You know that feeling of sudden inspiration that stems when you enjoy doing what you love? I'm pretty much caught up in that mood today. Most days I'm left juggling between college work and blogging, that being the case recently, but I love every bit of it. I woke up feeling rather inspired today and decided on checking off most things on my to-do list.

Coming to today's post, I had the chance to work with Sissies Attire. Based out of Rajasthan, Sissies Attire is an Instagram e-store that deals in women's clothing. The store incorporates pretty edgy ensembles that seem to move around the lines of modern and printed vintages. They have some of the best clothing pieces and their service is really cordial. You should surely check the store if you haven't already. Find their Instagram shop here

I have put together two looks of my favourite pieces of their collection. Have a look!

Look 1

I don't know if I have emphasized this enough but I always had this inclination towards more of subtle hues and shades. However, when I received this radiant red silk shift dress, I gave into it immediately. Not only does the material make you feel like royalty, the slit is the most outstanding feature of the dress and it carries a very fluid vibe to it. The gold choker added the chic edge to the entire look. I kept my accessories at a minimum because I wanted the dress to steal most of the show. I paired the shift dress with black whole shoes because they somewhere complement each other and finished my look with a red lip.

Seeing off the month of love, you surely want this red piece to be your holy grail for the upcoming parties the year has to offer.

Look 2

Ever heard that saying 'Make it simple, but significant'? This time around, I decided on playing with simple tones as against keeping a contrasting background. It's surely a must known fact that a solid little black dress is a staple closet piece and it just gets a lot better with the back of the dress being surprisingly striking. I paired the look with my black and orange heels which did give that slight lift to the dress. Talking about accessories, I just added a stud earring, a red sling with a coral lip to finish the look and I was good to go.

Which was your favourite look out of the two? Let me know in the comments below.

Until next time, Lovelies!

Effortless Musings

Hello everyone!

First off, before starting with today's post I'd like to share my heartfelt gratitude with all of you. I'm the kind that usually doesn't make a lot of noise for my achievements until it really means something to me. I completed my one thousand followers on Instagram recently, and even though it's a small achievement and merely but a stepping stone, I would like to thank each and everyone of you who follow me and appreciate my work.

Coming to the post, I had this amazing opportunity to work with 'Mansa', an upcoming chic clothing label. While browsing through their outfits, I reckoned they maintained a very edgy and chic facet with a touch of ethnic in most of their outfits. From amongst their many pieces, I stumbled upon this royal blue boat neck dress and I knew soon enough that it's going to make its way to the blog.

About the look: Not only do I adore a dressy outfit, I love it when it comes in blue. This boat neck dress does quite well in terms of its appearance and what's more, it fits like a dream. I styled the outfit with a gold and black choker keeping in mind the sequencing. The long, slightly puffy sleeves added a new element of vintage while the pockets added a sporty domain. Even though the cold season is seeing off its days(really happy about that), this outfit is apt for winter and could also back you up for Valentines. As dressy as it gets, this one is surely going to turn heads while you're at it!

For more of Mansa's enthralling pieces, you can find their Instagram here. Go have a look.

As for this post, I would love to know how found the look in the comments down below.

Until next time, amazing people!

Going Organic f.t. Fuschia By Vkare

When it comes to skin care essentials, I have always had an inclination towards organic products for the simple reason that they are devoid of any synthetic chemicals and help to retain the skin in its natural element. With an increased consciousness of natural products and its added advantages, there has been a considerable shift towards the same and Fuschia seems to fit the bill.

Born out of its parent company Vkare (pronounced as 'We Care'), Fuschia delves into a range of handmade skin care and beauty products. I would be reviewing three products of Fuschia in this post, so lets get to it.

Blueberry Bloom Bath Salt

Don't we all have those times where our skin just feels a little dull and needs that tad bit of exfoliation? The Fuschia Blueberry Bloom Bath Salt is definitely your go-to product if you need to rejuvenate your skin, leaving it supple and super smooth while its at it. I am usually not a huge fan of body-scrubbers or bath salts because they can tend to be harsh to the skin at times, but I was pretty happy with the result of Fuschia's bath salt as it did not dry out my skin but instead retained the skin moisture. Infused with sea minerals and essential oils, this ones surely going to leave your skin refreshed and smelling divine!

Coffee Cream Soap

Talking about soaps, I'v always had a predilection towards those who have tempting fragrances. The Fuschia Coffee Cream soap is charged with caffeine elements which is great at reducing redness or inflammation, and oh does it smell like a dream! Another feature of this product that I seemed to love more than the scent, was that because of its natural and synthetic-free component, the soap aided in evenly toning my skin, de-tanning and rejuvenating it. Even though the product is meant for the body, it also reduces under-eye marks to an extent. Be sure to give this one a try if you are looking for healing cleansers with divine scents.

Lip Balm - Peach Plush

Being an all-time victim of chapped lips, a lip balm is a skin essential that I just cannot do without. In times like those, the Fuschia Lip Balm comes in as a saviour. With a concoction of Shea butter and natural oils, it blends into the skin giving it a natural and hydrated shine. It does not contain any added colour and is entirely organic in its making. For those of you who get cracked lips because of lipstick application, you can use this one as a base for your lips as well.

Give a peek to those organic products of Vkare in the adoption of a healthier alternative to skin-care essentials. You can find their website here

Hope you guys liked this post, and I would love to know how, in the comments below.

Subtle Hues With Cloth Jewel

Hello Lovelies!

The crisp autumn air and the richly-hued leaves crunching beneath our feet means just one thing, the fall season is here for good. With the smell of winter in the air and the tropical reverie forming around us, how could one stray astray from florals?

If there is one thing I like more than layering up for the fall season, it is how effortlessly one can pull together a look with ornate prints and autumn hues without going over the top. There was a time when florals were largely meant for summer outfits alone, but with the changing trends, the fall fashion has induced florals and it's definitely a welcome change.

About the look: Talking about floral trends and subtle hues, this maxi dress from Cloth Jewel seems to fit right in. Based in Baroda, Cloth Jewel has a rather impressive collection of a customised clothing line that adds an edge of style in creating a chic ensemble. When I came across this maxi dress, I knew at once that it would make it's way to the blog. The subtle background with pops of pink and purple added an element to the dress and made for an effortless outfit.

I decided to keep the accessories at a minimum as I wanted the dress to steal the show. A hot pink choker necklace paired with a purple clutch bag complemented the overall outfit. Usually, when the outfit is on the lines of being subtle, a bold lip colour is preferred. A dark shade of pink with cat eyed sunglasses worked for me to complete the look.

Would love to know how you found the look in the comments below.

Floral Obsession

Hello there!
I recently started my masters in management, thus the gaps between my posts. However, I couldn't stay for long without blogging, one of the few things I truly love. There are many exciting posts lined up and I cannot wait to share them with you!

Talking about today's post, floral prints are infallible, you just can't go wrong with them! Although, they aren't sartorially timid, floral's add a certain boldness to the outfit and I wouldn't love them any other way. I was immediately drawn to these floral pants and I knew at once that they would make it to the blog. The soft fabric makes for a comfortable yet chic outfit.

Floral prints go best with neutrals or basics, and so I decided to pair them with a crop top. A higher neckline of the crop top is preferred when you style them with a high waisted pant or skirt. I teamed the outfit with a pair of reflector sunglasses and orange pumps to compliment the look. All in all, the look is suitable for a night event and works just as great for a night out.

Would love to know how you found the outfit in the comments below.

Until next time, Lovelies! :*
